A spellbook for the table

This companion organises the spells and magic-item powers listed in Zora’s supplied character sheet, ZOra print.pdf. It contains 81 distinct entries, including 65 levelled Wizard spells and six unique cantrips. Rules summaries follow the sheet’s 2024 Player’s Handbook, 2024 Dungeon Master’s Guide and campaign spell references.

Prepare today’s spells

The printed sheet allows 16 prepared Wizard spells but does not mark today’s selection. Choose those spells on the Prepare screen. Cantrips and always-prepared feat spells do not use those 16 choices. Wizard rituals in the spellbook can be cast as rituals without preparation. Magic items and scrolls have separate costs.

Your remaining magic

A first visit starts with full spell slots, full item charges and all daily uses available, as requested. Each listed scroll starts at one copy; adjust quantities to match the table. Saved progress is preserved. A Long Rest restores spell slots and daily features. Staff recharge happens at dawn and uses the rolled recharge total; it is separate from a Long Rest. The companion stores resources, prepared spells, the current screen, shape filter, selected spell, casting level and scroll position in this browser on this device. Reopening resumes your previous place. It does not synchronise between phones.

Casting from staffs

Staff of Fire and Staff of Power use the fixed spell levels and charge costs in their item descriptions. Spending additional charges does not raise these spell levels. Staff of Power casts Fireball and Lightning Bolt at level 5 for five charges. Each item casting button shows its own effect and cost; your slot casting level does not change it.

Rules to confirm at the table

The sheet gives shortened descriptions. Summoning statistics, Polymorph choices, Bigby’s Hand options and other detailed exceptions still require the full source. The custom Static Spark wand lacks a standard charge cost, range and attack or saving-throw procedure. Its recharge timing is inconsistent in the sheet. Dragon Bolt records 12d6 lightning damage but leaves its other rules unspecified. These custom powers remain visible while their automatic casting controls stay unavailable.

The sheet lists spell attack +11 and save DC 17; these values are preserved for the table to confirm. An apparent feat-description mismatch is not used to invent additional concentration benefits. Zora’s appearance follows the requested blue dragonborn theme; this does not change the sheet’s recorded ancestry or cold-breath mechanics.

Spell illustrations

The figures show an example of who an effect includes. They do not track your actual battlefield. Range, line of sight, cover, attack rolls, saves and the spell’s full rules still apply to the physical minis.

Spell sounds

Original sound design uses synthesis and CC0 recordings from VSCO Community Edition, Nox_Sound and Megashot12. Use Listen to preview a spell without spending resources. The speaker button and volume setting are saved on this device.
